So it's been over a month since I last posted, and that's pretty awful... sadly I'm still not drawing much/at all. Not sure what's up with that. But I've been having blog-neglect-guilt lately, so I dug through the abundance of half-finished/forgotten stuff in my "art" folder and found this. I haven't the faintest clue what the point is supposed to be, but it's better than nothing, right?
Yeah, let's go with that.

ReplyDeletei miss your posts!
ReplyDeleteHi! This is going to sound really creepy but I found your cooking blog through the PPK, bookmarked a few recipes right away, and wanted to ask you your favorite places to go/shop since I also live in Philly. Then I checked out your artwork, and holy crap! Amazing. THEN (yeah, I'm going to keep rambling) I saw your drawing of the girl with a Senorita Burrita shirt and Prince Street...my boyfriend's family lives in Lancaster and he's a burrito snob so we haven't been there yet, but is it good? I love Prince Street Cafe or whatever the place is that serves $2 bottomless coffee, so if you haven't, you should check that out next time you're there. Uh, conclusion time: basically, great artwork, thanks for the recipes and since I just moved to Philly (from Doylestown), I'd love some recommendations on what to do/where to go.
ReplyDeleteClea - Wow, that is a pretty convoluted chain of events! I kind of love it. I'm pretty new to Philly myself (I've been here less than 5 months), so I don't have too many favorite places yet, and I guess it depends where you live in the city. If you want to shoot me an email at aschronisterATgmailDOTcom (forgive the weird format, I don't want even more spambots knowing where to reach me), I'd be happy to share - and it seems easier than doing it through the comments.
ReplyDeleteOh, and Senorita Burrita is awesome and totally worth checking out. I ate there pretty much every week for 4 years.
That's gorgeous, and a really nice red.
ReplyDeleteThank yyou for being you
