For my senior thesis project, I'm doing four pieces based on Poe's stories and poems. This is the first: Bernice. I'm not 100% set on how I'm going to do the finished piece (traditional vs. digital), but here's a fairly finished sketch. The background and small details might change a bit. The character, however, I love.
